A Trump Retreat From Korea?

A couple of months ago we heard that President Trump was pushing the Pentagon to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan, Germany and South Korea. We started calling around and were told to focus on Afghanistan, as the other two deployments were safe in an election year.

Bad call. Mr. Trump has since ordered the withdrawal of 9,500 of the 34,500 U.S. troops stationed in Germany, and now we read Friday in the Journal that he may do the same with U.S. forces in Seoul. You never know with Mr. Trump how much of this leak is negotiating…
