Kayleigh McEnany is joining Fox News’ “Outnumbered.”

The former White House press secretary will co-host the news hour (noon EDT) alongside Harris Faulkner and Emily Compagno starting April 6. On the show, which debuted in 2014, a panel of four women and one man reviews issues making headlines. Rotating panel members will fill the other spots.

McEnany, 32, joined the conservative-leaning cable news network earlier this month as an on-air commentator. “Outnumbered” is the Harvard Law School alum’s first hosting gig for Fox News.

Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, praised the former CNN commentator and her experience in Tuesday’s announcement.

“Kayleigh’s unique background in politics and law coupled with her experiences confronting women’s health challenges and life as a new mom will add robust insight to ‘Outnumbered’ — we are delighted to welcome her back to Fox News where she began her media career,” Scott said.

McEnany also voiced her excitement about being an addition to the program.

“I am thrilled to join the incredible women of ‘Outnumbered’ and look forward to working alongside the talented Harris Faulkner and Emily Compagno as we discuss the top issues impacting the country,” she said.

McEnany was a frequentFox News guest during the Trump administration, for which she served as press secretary from April 2020 until shortly before he left office in January.

She said during an interview with Fox’s Faulkner  on March 2 that her biggest regret at the White House was not being able to hold a briefing outlining all the accomplishments of the Trump administration.

“But after January 6, it just was not tenable,” she said, referring to the insurrection at the Capitol, largely by Trump supporters protesting the outcome of the 2020 election.

She said “everyone in the administration was horrified” by the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, but she insisted that it did not represent the former president’s backers.

Asked if she believed Trump bore any responsibility for the riot, she said, “No, I don’t.”
